Available on the Apple App Store, Remote Stage Timer is an iOS timer application used primarily for presenters on a stage. This app can be controlled remotely, but it doesn't require a separate app as the controller. You install a single app , and select whether you want it to be the control or a display (select the gear icon at any time to change the mode). All iOS devices must be on the same WiFi network to communicate. You can also have multiple displays. Just install the app on all the iOS devices you want to use, and select one device as the Control, and all the others as Displays. It can warn the presenter(s) of an approaching deadline by turning Yellow when getting close, and Red when you are very near the end. Also, you can select what happens at the end of the countdown. All modes will flash 00:00 four times, then continue to one of these options. None - Stays on 00:00. Count Up - Will count up from 00:00 to let the presenter know how much over time they are. Flash - Will flash Red 00:00 continuously to enforce the fact that they need to stop. Clock - Will show a clock with the current time. A typical setup is to use an iPhone as the controller, and place iPads where the presenters can see them. Or an iPhone on a podium for a discreet timer, controlled by someone else.

# Privacy Policy for Remote Stage Timer Effective Date: February 20, 2026
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile app. ### 1. Information We Collect Remote Stage Timer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from you. - No names, email addresses, phone numbers, locations, device identifiers, or usage analytics are gathered. - No data is sent to us or any third-party servers. The app only processes timer settings, countdown values, warning thresholds, and display preferences locally on your device and shares them directly with nearby devices you explicitly connect to (via Multipeer Connectivity framework). ### 2. Local Network Access The app uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework to enable wireless synchronization of the timer between a control device and one or more display devices on your local network (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth). - This requires temporary access to the local network for peer discovery and data exchange. - All communication happens directly between your devices — no data leaves your local network or is routed through any external servers. - We request local network permission only when you choose to connect devices, and you can revoke it anytime in your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network. ### 3. Data Sharing and Third Parties We do not share, sell, or disclose any information with third parties because no personal data is collected. The app does not use analytics tools, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or any other third-party code that collects data. ### 4. Children's Privacy Remote Stage Timer is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect data from children. ### 5. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. ### 6.
